BTL is owned by the government of Belize.
Belize network covers most of the country and some marine areas close to major coastal population centers.

| Digicell - is the brand used for BTL's cellular service. Digicell uses a GSM dual band 850/1900 MHz technology.

| Phone service plans in Belize are divided into two segments - Post and Pre Paid.

| Digicell Post Paid plans offers a permanent cell number. The plans are designed to attract business, Belizeans or people residing in Belize. If you phone get losed or damaged, you can get a replacement SIM card with your same phone number for a nominal charge.

Current Passport or Belize Social Security Card.
